- Project:John and Sue were building their award winning home, right
on the ridge at Lennox Head, it has fantastic views
up and down the coast. The site is very steep and the house is situated right
at the top of the block. The brief being to create a very low maintenance
garden making access to the house as simple as possible. Having just
come back from Indonesia, I was inspired by the rising levels of
'Borabodur'. We used sandstone for the walls and selected a variety
plants to suit the conditions. John and Sue entrusted me with the job
and were a confident, supportive and friendly client.
- Comments:"What seemed like an impossible task to us, to turn a steep, weed infested
heap of rubble into a beautiful garden was the vision that David could see
and promised us he could create. We now have the garden he promised and
there is always a great sense of joy to stand and hear the water running and
survey the completed scene. It was a pleasure to have David oversee the
transformation and be caught up in his enthusiasm throughout the project.
